For those who like to embellish with natural products ... this box features a beaded bracelet from honored Nez Perce tribal member Mikailah Thompson and a pair of earrings that Free Range Boutique makes with feathers from her partner’s bird-hunting harvests. Then Flora Fibers uses plants on her property, such as alder or walnut leaves, nettles, juniper, to dye organic cotton gauze scarves (colors vary from taupe to green-ish). Lastly but not leastly, Kolle Kahle Riggs makes this gorgeous necklace by hand. And I don’t mean just that she hand-carved snowberry-twig beads, which she did, one by one. I mean she hammered out the silver clasp as well! And then mounts it on a hand-drawn explanation of how she makes her beads.
